The terms of all information collected are only for the use of business practices.
Rise Job Site has the right to delete or terminate any employers or candidates that post contents, which are not in the best interest of the company or in violation of Rise Job Site ethical values.
All payments are final and Rise Job Site does not guarantees employers finding the right candidates or employees finding the right jobs or even get any response to ads.
The information provided here is not intended to be a substitute for legal or other professional advice. JOB SEEKER PROFILES
When your end user job seeker creates an account (and his/her profile) with your hosted job board we collect the following information:
Email Address
First Name
Last Name
Password
IP Address - used for security purposes
Your end user job seeker can then optionally provide the following information:
Phone Number
Photo
Location (City/State) - we geocode this location to a Longitude/Latitude in order to facilitate distance based search on the Profile Database search
Longitude/Latitude - geocoded from Location value
Resume (PDF/Word/Text)
Social Media Links (Facebook, LinkedIn, Twitter)
Employment history
Educational history
Certifications or Professional Licenses
Skills
Custom Fields – the personal data collected in the custom fields is within your control. Therefore, the specific personal data collected will be dependent on what you require from your end users
When is this information shared?
When a job seeker applies to a job advertisement (“Job Ad”), the job seeker’s email address, name, resume/CV and cover letter are sent to the employer (specifically to the email address designated by the employer as the “Apply via Email” address when the employer posted the Job Ad)
If you have enabled the Profile Database feature, an employer with appropriate permissions may view the job seeker’s Profile Data (excluding email address and IP address).
JOB APPLICANTS
You can permit your end user job seekers to apply to Job Ads without first having to create an account with your job board.
Apply via Email (i.e. Hosted Apply)
In the case where a Job Ad is setup as an Apply via Email (i.e. where your job board hosts the Job Application form), the following information is collected:
Email Address
First Name
Last Name
Resume
Cover Letter
Source - if we are able to identify where a job seeker came from, we will share that information with you, e.g., Twitter, Email
Custom Fields - the personal data collected in the custom fields is within your control. Therefore, the specific personal data collected will be dependent on what you require from your end users
Information about the job seeker-applicant’s email address, first name, last name, resume/CV, cover letter and custom fields, will be shared with the Employer who posted the Job Ad.
Apply via URL (i.e. external click)
In the case where the Job Ad is setup as an Apply via URL (i.e., where the job seeker is taken to an external website to complete the application), the following information is collected when the job seeker clicks on the “Apply to this Job” button:
IP Address - we use the IP Address to geocode the location for reporting purposes and then store an anonymized version of the IP address (i.e. 127.123.154.000)
City, State, Zip Code - based on IP address geocoding
Longitude, Latitude - based on IP address geocoding
User Agent- device and browser i.e. iPhone, Windows, Firefox
Referring Website or Search Engine (if this information is available to us) - where the visitor came from i.e. Google Search
Source - if we are able to identify where a job seeker came from, we will share that information with you, e.g., Twitter, Email Campaign, etc.
JOB ALERT SUBSCRIBERS
When your end user job seeker signs up for job alert emails, we collect the following information:
Email address
Search preferences/search query - i.e. “sales jobs” in "Boston, MA"
EMPLOYERS
When your end user employer customer registers for an account on your job board, we collect the following information:
Email Address
First Name
Last Name
Password
IP Address - used for security purposes
Your employer customer can then optionally provide the following information:
Phone Number
Company Name
Company Description
Logo
Additional Media (Image, Videos)
Company Location (Street Address/City/State) - we then geocode this location to a Longitude/Latitude in order to facilitate distance based search on the Profile Database search
Longitude/Latitude - geocoded from Location value

COOKIES SET BY Rise Job Site
u_source - cookie used to store utm_source query string variables for source attribution
u_medium - cookie used to store utm_medium query string variables for source attribution
u_campaign - cookie used to store utm_campaign query string variables for source attribution
newsletter - if you have enabled the Mailchimp integration, this cookie controls whether the website visitor has already seen the modal window newsletter sign up offer.
_job_board_session - core functionality session cookie used to manage application state such as login, etc.
_job_board_loc - cookie used to store customer end user geographic location
__cfduid - cookie set by Cloudflare for security purposes
mp_xxx - cookie set by Mixpanel, a tool we use for tracking clicks on the job board to better understand usage metrics
_gid - cookie set by Google Analytics
_ga - cookie set by Google Analytics
